Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Credit Rating Analyst to join our esteemed agency. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial statements, industry trends, and macroeconomic factors, using these to evaluate creditworthiness and provide insightful ratings.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Credit Analysis:
– Analyze financial statements, management accounts, and other relevant data of entities to assess credit risk.
– Review industry trends and macroeconomic indicators relevant to the companies or sectors under study.
2. Rating Assignments:
– Recommend credit ratings based on comprehensive analysis, ensuring objectivity and adherence to rating methodologies.
– Prepare detailed credit rating reports to justify the recommended ratings.
3. Client Interactions:
– Meet with company management and industry experts to gain a deeper insight into the business model, industry trends, and risks.
– Address client queries related to the rating process and criteria.
4. Continuous Monitoring:
– Monitor assigned portfolios for potential rating changes due to financial, industry, or macroeconomic shifts.
– Update rating reports and recommendations as needed.
5. Team Collaboration:
– Work closely with senior analysts and other team members to share insights and refine rating methodologies.
– Participate in team meetings to discuss market trends, internal methodologies, and best practices.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. CFA/CPA is a plus.
